The home screen of LonghornMax welcomes you each time you open the software. With its easy to use design and layout, you can quickly find the record or feature you need.
LonghornMax maintains complete details such as registration number, description, calving history, medical treatments and much more.
Tip to tip, total horn and composite measurements are all in LonghornMax. When dates and measurements are entered, LonghornMax automatically calculates and records the Horns per Month of Age (HMA) and the age at measurement to help compare horn growth among your cattle.
Proudly display pictures in the records, on reports and on sale catalogs from LonghornMax. See how your cattle are growing - you can link to multiple pictures of each animal!
Record 3 generation pedigrees, and print 3 and 5 generation pedigree charts. Already have the sire and dam's pedigree entered? If so, LonghornMax will automatically build the offspring's pedigree when the sire and dam are chosen - this helps save time and improve accuracy of the records.
Keep track of contacts - their mailing address, email, website and more. Easily indicate who are breeders, service providers and other notations - you can even add categories of your own to help keep the records organized and fit your needs.
Be on time and task by being reminded of upcoming ranch tasks and events. Choose the time period (such as today, this week, and this month) to help plan your schedule.
As the official software program of the TLBAA, LonghornMax includes several exclusive options for working with the association that save you time. From downloading a copy of your registered cattle to easily submitting completed registration forms, LonghornMax makes it even easier to interface with the TLBAA.
Easily update similar records for a group of cattle. Gave your calves the same medication and dosage? Record the details one time and LonghornMax will copy the information to the individual cattle records. Herd Update methods also include pasture movements, promoting calves to replacements in the herd and others.

LonghornMax includes flexible reporting options. Preset Reports are great for printing information quickly and in a standard format. The Customizable List Reports can be changed to your needs - choose the columns to display, total and average numeric columns and more. More advanced options are available to meet even the most specific reporting needs.
Track income and expenses for your ranch and cattle. Entries can even be linked to a specific animal. Similar to a checkbook register, the income and expenses area will help keep an eye on your financials.
