TLBAA Interface

Herd Inventory Files

The TLBAA is able to generate an electronic file of a member's registered cattle records. This file includes cattle that are currently recorded as active in the TLBAA registry, and include their complete 3-generation pedigrees. This helps improve the accuracy of your records and minimizes the time you are entering new cattle records into LonghornMax!

Want to download a copy of the records for cattle you've recently purchased? We can help with that - LonghornMax looks for matching registration numbers in your LonghornMax file and the TLBAA file - any record in the TLBAA file with a registration number that's not in your LonghornMax file will be added to your LonghornMax records.

Here's how the process works for requesting and working with the TLBAA's electronic files (both for new and updated herd files):

  • Contact us and request your herd inventory file. Be sure to include your membership number.
  • We'll forward your request to the TLBAA - they will generate the file and email it to us.
  • We'll forward the TLBAA file to you, along with the steps for LonghornMax to download these records for you.
TLBAA Forms

LonghornMax is also able to automatically complete the TLBAA forms, including the registration and transfer forms. Simply enter the information for the individual animal's record (such as name, date of birth, owner, etc) and LonghornMax completes the form based on the records. The forms can be sent to TLBAA electronically by email or by print.

These forms can be accessed in LonghornMax by clicking the "External Data" tab.

Forms include:

  • Registration Application
  • Transfer Form
  • Transfer by Lease
  • AI Sire Enrollment Form
  • AI Breeding & Embryo Transfer Certificate
